New Phone App From Facebook Might Be Arriving Soon

Facebook is working on a new phone app that could potentially be a rival to Truecaller app. The new app would show who's calling and block commonly blocked number automatically.

According to reports, the social networking giant has sent a handful of invites to Facebook users to try out the new Phone App.

The yet-to-be announced 'Phone' app may allow Facebook users to get information about the name of the caller including the tracked location of the number as well.

Smartphone users might not be spending too much time talking, but the phone app remains one of the most important app and it's not at all surprising that Facebook is considering, or at least trying to replace your phone's default phone app.

There's no official word on the release yet.
