‘Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice' Trailer & Update: Unofficial Trailer Leaked Online?
The highly anticipated movie, "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice," is still one year away from hitting theaters. Despite the 2016 release date, numerous reports and rumors about the movie's cast and plot have surfaced.
In the latest rumors, some people are claiming that an unofficial trailer was leaked onto 4Chan. The trailer, if the rumors were true, was taken down immediately by Warner Bros.
TechTimes, which did not find evidence of a trailer, stated, based on other reports that the trailer showed scenes from the "Man of Steel" movie. During these scenes, Bruce Wayne, aka Batman played by Ben Affleck, is narrating what happened to the world after Superman, played by Henry Cavill and the Kryptonians arrived. In the movie, Batman will try to figure out whether or not Superman is a friend or a foe of Earth.
"For those who didn't see the BvS trailer on /tv/ last night. YOU MISSED A LOT. The new BvS trailer was a rehash of the last one with Batman narrating the entire time however the new one had some snippets of Aquaman, Flash and Cyborg. Only Aquaman was in costume though, Ezra Miller and Cyborg are just wearing civilian clothes," the website reported.
The trailer also supposedly showed Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Fans are still waiting for an official trailer to be released.
Earlier reports stated that fans can expect an epic battle between Superman and Batman. Cavill also recently stated that the movie will be exciting.
"It's Zack Snyder so it's going to be a visual spectacle and it's cinematic history. We're doing Batman and we're doing Superman and it's all happening at the same time so fingers crossed it turns out to be as exciting as I think it is," he said according to Realty Today.
Cavill also talked about Affleck, stating, "I'm sure he'll be fantastic above all else. And as a filmmaker, he's got his own style, you know. He's not copying anyone else. And he's also sort of being tenacious in his career. He's had ups followed by downs and now he's very up again, and I think that requires and shows a very special strength of character. And it's something which I enjoy working with because jobs like this require strength of character, they require a dedication to the work and belief in oneself. And Ben has that, clearly."
"Superman v. Batman: Dawn of Justice" comes out on March 25, 2016.
