Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Relationship Update: Former Lovers Hate Each Other

Not even a child can get Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes talking.

According to the latest rumors, the former Hollywood couple is not on speaking terms at all. Cruise and Holmes, who were married for nearly six years, hate each other and "are so estranged they don't even talk about raising their 8-year-old daughter Suri," TMZ reported.

Another TMZ report wrote, "Sources close to both Tom and Katie tell us they do not communicate at all. There are no direct co-parenting discussions. Everything regarding Suri -- visitation, child-rearing, etc. -- is handled through intermediaries.

Our sources say there are bad feelings on both sides, and no desire on either Tom or Katie's part to mend fences.

Sources added that despite the differences between the two actors, Cruise is still an active part in Suri's life. However, Cruise was busy shooting "Mission Impossible 5" in London and has not been able to see Suri in months. Since filming has ended, Cruise is reportedly headed back to Los Angeles to spend some quality time with Suri, who lives with Holmes.

In other news, rumors are surfacing that Holmes might have a new love in her life. According to several insiders, Holmes might be dating Jamie Foxx, 47.

PEOPLE quoted a source stating, "This is not some intense romance. Jamie and Katie are friends and have been for a long time. They are two adults who are attractive and single, and so apparently conclusions will be drawn. But contrary to those conclusions, they're not about to run off and make some serious commitment."

An insider added that Holmes has been seen near his home. They have also reportedly been seen holding hands.

"Jamie is someone she can trust and have fun with," a mutual friend told Us of Holmes. "She's getting everything from Jamie that she didn't get with Tom."

Holmes and Foxx have not commented about these latest rumors
