Patrick Schwarzenegger Claims he did not Cheat on Miley Cyrus

Patrick Schwarzenegger might be single very soon.

Schwarzenegger, a junior at the University of Southern California, headed out to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for spring break with a couple of his friends. On Sunday, pictures of him and a girl surfaced on the Internet. The pair appeared to be very intimate.

In one photograph, bikini-clad brunette wrapped her arms around Schwarzenegger's neck. In another photograph, it seems like they were holding hands. One more picture showed Schwarzenegger doing a body shot off of a mysterious girl, who could be the same girl that he was seen with throughout party. The duo and friends were at the Mango Deck Restaurant & Bar.

After the pictures surfaced, Schwarzenegger, who is a member of the Lamda Chi Alpha fraternity, denied any romantic involvement with the girl, who is a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at USC. He tweeted, "OMG. It's one of my best friends girlfriend," before following it up with another tweet that read, "Would NEVER do anything against my GF..."

The 21-year-old's final tweet read, "Girls have guy friends and guys have friends that are girls..."

A source told E! News, "They are not together at all - just friends. USC invades Cabo during spring break."

Cyrus, 22, has not addressed these pictures at all. She posted a picture of herself getting a drink with her mother, Tish on Instagram. She also posted two picture-messages. The first one says, "Surround yourself with people that reflect who you want to be and how you w ant to feel, energies are contagious." The second one sad, "Don't you ever let someone treat you like a yellow Starburst. You are a pink Starburst."

"Miley gets it - he was partying in Cabo and things can look worse than they are. Everyone is drinking and wearing next to nothing on the beach so she somewhat understands. Still she doesn't get why he needs to hold her hand or do body shots off of her. Miley also doesn't love him acting like a frat boy either. She thought he was more mature than that. To be honest she wouldn't mind him doing those things as long as she was there and could do it too!" an insider said exclusively to HollywoodLife.com.

The source added, "They are not going to split up over this but I do think it has given them both a wake up call. Miley may say everything is fine but she does get jealous and this incident will only make those feeling worse."

Miley and Patrick were linked together in November 2014.
