‘Fifty Shades of Grey’: Jamie Dornan Address Rumors about his Wife
Fame and rumors come hand in hand in Hollywood.
Actor Jamie Dornan, who gained international fame for his role as the mysterious billionaire Christian Grey in the movie, "Fifty Shades of Grey," has been the subject of several rumors lately.
One of these rumors claimed that the actor did not plan to return as Mr. Grey on the big screen due to the concerns of his wife, Amelia Warner. Reports surfaced that Warner did not like the sex scenes that Dornan had to act out with actress Dakota Johnson, who played his love interest, Anastasia Steele, and demanded that he quit after the first movie.
Although these rumors have been squashed, Dornan felt the need to address them. He recently told Baz Bamigboye of The Daily Mail that all of the rumors were complete nonsense,
The 32-year-old said, "Total bollocks! Of course she [Warner] would have read the scripts well in advance, and she's massively supportive of 'Fifty Shades.'"
Dornan also addressed the rumors that he apparently blamed the lack of chemistry in the movie on his co-star Johnson. Rumors claimed that Dornan said Johnson gave him nothing to work with.
'They wouldn't have shot the film with us if there was a chemistry problem . . . whatever chemistry means. You have to jump through a lot of hoops to get a part like this, and they simply wouldn't have cast us," Dornan said.
The actor added that he will be involved with the second and third movies, which have not been confirmed. However, rumors are already circulating that Dornan and Johnson are seeking seven figure salaries.
The raunchy romance follows Steele's sexual journey into the BDSM world, which she learns about from Grey.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" has made over $500 million worldwide. It was the biggest February opening within the United States despite early poor reviews.
