Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger Update: Couple already Using the ‘M’ Word

Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger are already thinking about a future together after just five months of dating.

According to TMZ, the romance between Cyrus, 22, and Schwarzernegger, 21, has been heating up. Sources claimed that the couple has been using the "M" word around their friends. The young couple is in it for the long haul.

In order to strengthen their relationship, Cyrus is working hard to get Schwarzenegger's mom, Maria Shriver to like her. Cyrus and her beau's mother have reportedly been getting to know one another better.

"Maria is a very hard egg to crack. But now she sees that the relationship isn't just a passing fad or phase, so she has warmed up quite a bit and is starting to respect Miley as a person," a source told HollywoodLife.com exclusively.

The source added, "Patrick has really shown that he hasn't changed by being with Miley and Maria is very happy with that. Maria just doesn't want her son to get his heart broken but it looks like everyone is in a good place right now."

Schwarzenegger is very happy that his mother has finally opened up to Cyrus because he wants his mother to be "on board with the relationship," another source said.

Earlier rumors reported that Shriver was not a huge fan of Cyrus because of her partying ways. However, other sources stated that Schwarzenegger was a party animal before he met Cyrus and has gotten a lot better since he settled down into a serious relationship.

Now, with Shriver's consent, there might be wedding bells in the near future. Schwarzenegger's father, Arnold, has approved of the pairing a few months ago.

If Schwarzenegger does propose, it would be Cyrus's second engagement. She was previously engaged to Australian Liam Hemsworth at the age of 19.
