Slipknot Guitarist Stabbed in Head

One of the guitarists for the heavy metal band Slipknot has been hospitalized after being stabbed in an altercation with his brother.

TMZ reports that Mick Thomson was stabbed in the head after fighting with his brother Andrew in Clive, Iowa. Both men were seriously injured and required hospitalization in near by Des Moines.

It is unclear what started the bloody fight, but police say that when they arrived on the scene it was quite apparent both men were wildly drunk. It is not clear whose injuries were more severe, but it is known that Mick was slashed in the back of his head.

Slipknot is well known for the fact that they always appear in ghoulish masks for concerts and other public appearances.
