Samsung Milk Music Can Now Be Accessed Via Web Browser
Samsung's streaming service, Milk Music, can now be accessed through web browsers. Previously, only Samsung device owners could access the service, but now anyone after creating an account, can access it.
The browser based version of the service is being powered by the Slacker Internet radio service, the same service that powers the app version of Milk Music.
While the web version and the app version will share many aspects, one notable difference is the interface. While the Milk Music app features a dial-based interface, that of the web version is based on a tuning bar such as that of a radio, with users sliding the bar to switch between songs and genres, TechTimes reported.
Apart from the free version, the Milk Music also offers premium subscription option. By paying $3.99 per month, users can listen to music uninterrupted by ads and skip unlimited songs. Premium subscribers can also play music on the mobile device without an Internet connection.
As of now, Samsung's streaming service has more than 200 stations and playlists are curated by music experts.
Milk Music was launched with a collection of over 13 million songs.
