Protesters Besiege Wisconsin Capitol After Black Teen Shot by White Officer
The State Capitol of Wisconsin continues to be the scene of protests regarding the shooting death of an unarmed youth.
Reuters reports it is the third day of protests for Tony Robinson Jr., who was killed by police in the Wisconsin capital of Madison.
The incident is still under investigation. The police are saying that Robinson was killed as an officer followed him into his apartment. The officer was responding to calls about a man running around in traffic that had previously attacked someone, according to Reuters.
It is not clear why the officer followed Robinson into his apartment, or if Robinson was the person in traffic. The city of Madison contends that the officer was attacked on entering Robinson's apartment, which is why he opened fire that eventually killed Robinson.
Numerous images of the protests in the Wisconsin capitol rotunda made their way around social media.
