Although Emma Watson crushed the dreams of many fans throughout the world when she vaguely denied rumors of dating Prince Harry late last month, fans still have not given up hope.

According to new rumors, the 24-year-old actress, most widely known for her role as Hermione in the "Harry Potter" movies, and the 30-year-old Prince have started talking more frequently.

Classicalite is reporting that a source told OK! Magazine that Prince Harry has wasted no time to connect with Watson after the initial dating rumors surfaced.

The source claimed, "They'd met each other before at events but never had more than just a casual conversation. [But] they have mutual friends, so it was easy to connect...He got her email and reached out to say he'd like to get to know her better. Harry always thought Emma was beautiful, but once they got to talking, he was suprised to discover how much they have in common. He likes that she is an activist like he is. And they've connected over what it's like to live in the public eye. He's trying to keep it casual, but he's totally smitten."

Hollywood Life added that Watson and Prince Harry's friends want the pair to start dating.

"They share the same wicked sense of humor," a source claimed. "There's a perception that Emma is quiet, polite and a typical English rose type. But she has got an element of wild child about her. Harry, being the jack-the-lad type he is, will absolutely love that and likes to be around cheeky characters like himself."

The source also explained why the pair would make a good couple, stating, "Emma grew up in the spotlight, she was very young when she filmed her first 'Harry Potter' film aged just 10. Harry also grew up in the media gaze, so she understands exactly what it's like for him as a royal and a role model... they've both kept relationships in the past on the QT because they like to keep their personal lives private. Given this is something they agree on, it would certainly mean any relationship would blossom."

After the initial rumors started heating up, Watson tweeted a reminder to her fans that they should not believe everything they read on the Internet.

She also tweeted a link of Alfonso Cuaron's "A Little Princess" with a caption that read: "marrying a Prince not a prerequisite for being a Princess."

Even though Watson may or may not have a real-life prince by her side, she will at least have one for sure in her upcoming live-action adaptation movie, "Beauty and the Beast." Disney just confirmed that Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens will play Watson's love interest, the Beast, who is actually an enchanted prince. Luke Evans will play Gaston.
