Kim Kardashian Update: Debuts Platinum Blond Hair at Paris Fashion Week

Kim Kardashian shocked everybody in the Fashion Week as she showed her new look by transforming her brunette tresses to platinum blonde.

"Kim is doing this to strip her old self and reinvent herself. It is a visual shedding of a Kardashian shell. The icy color she chose is edgy and not naturally 'pretty,' like she used to be," Rachel Bodt, a senior colorist at Cutler Salons in Manhattan said as reported by New York Daily News.

This is not the first time when the reality TV star dyed her hair blonde. In 2013, she had a dirty blonde look per request from rapper husband Kanye West who likes "likes the blond." Kanye also asked Kim "go back" to that hairstyle.

Glamour also mentioned that the TV star had gone blonde several times in 2009.

According to the news source, Kim's new platinum hair is stylized by hair colorist Lorri Goddard of Goddard + Bragg salon in West Hollywood from a previous idea given by celebrity stlist George Papanikolas.

Goddard is said to be doing his own artistic manipulation on Kim's hair so that it will work well with her skin tone and dark eyes.

On Thursday, Kim expressed how happy she is with her new hairstyle and acknowledged the ideas from her staff-her makeup artist Joyce Bonelli and Gregory Russell.

"I have the best team!" as the post said.

Meanwhile, the 34-year old mother of North West continued to parade her new style in the Paris Fashion Week as she is seen by E! Online to be wearing a very daring mesh dress that slightly exposed her nipples.

As seen from pictures, Kim is wearing a skin tone mesh dress with matching black blazer. She is seen exchanging smooches from her husband in the front row of the Balmain fashion show.

The couple joined Kris Jenner in the front row to have a clear view of the models and of course, Kendall Jenner's turn to own the runway.
