"I am thinking about it," Hillary says on Running for Presidency in 2016

As Hillary Clinton returned to the politically significant state of Iowa, Sunday, "to support" Democrats contesting in the 2014 midterms, she playfully hinted at the prospects of her running for Presidency in 2016.

Beginning with "Hello Iowa, I'm back!," Clinton knew she had to make an impact and it was an opportunity she shouldn't let go.  Outstretching her arms to her sides for maximum effect, she said amidst roaring applause: "It is true, I am thinking about it."

Immediately changing her stance, she added: "But for today, that is not why I am here. I am here first and foremost for Tom [Harkin], for Ruth [his wife] and for the great candidates that you have a chance to elect." However, the crowd didn't seem to like the change of the topic and it reacted with unhappy groans, some also yelled "Just do it," CNN reports.

Iowa is the first state in the nation to vote in the presidential election year; hence this agricultural state generates strong national interest.  Iowa's January caucuses kickstart the election procedure, creating the momentum that decides the outcome of the upcoming primary season, Independent.ie reports.

Clinton last visited this state in the American midwest in 2008 when she lost a bloc election there in her unsuccessful presidential run, the Irish Times reports.

In the 2008 presidential campaign, she finished third in Iowa, behind then-Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., and former Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C, the U.S. News reports.

Some polls show her as the favorite for nomination in the Presidential elections 2016, and her visit to Iowa this weekend has only added credence the hope that  she is likely to run for Presidency.

Even though she said that she has "a few things" on her mind these days at this point of time including becoming a grandmother, she added: "Then of course, there's that other thing." She didn't really mention what the "thing" was explicitly, but it wasn't quite necessary.
