The Google Contact design is being refreshed, making it easier to deal with duplicates. The search giant recent teased out a preview of the new Contacts page where you can manage people, phone number and email addresses more easily than before.

Reportedly, the new Contact page design looks a lot like Google Drive on the Web which was recently updated.

The new design separates the new page among sections: starred contacts, frequently contacted people and everyone else.

Google completely rebuilt the tool that merges duplicate contacts to streamline the process. With the tool, you'll clearly see each duplicate entry in your address book, including the name and contact information, so you can decide if you want to merge it or not, Cnet reports.
