BlackBerry Launches New Low-Cost Smartphone Aimed At Young Professionals
BlackBerry has launched a new smartphone, BlackBerry Leap, targeted at young professional.
The new Leap is powered by 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It has a 2800 mAH battery which, the company claims can give up to 25 hours of uptime under heavy use.
The 5-inch screen has 294 PPI and 1280 x 720 resolution. The phone runs BlackBerry 10 OS.
The Leap equips a 8 megapixel auto-focus rear camera and 2 megapixel fixed-focus front camera.
Engadget notes, that the Leap is considerably more attractive than any of the company's all-touch efforts in the past, though it's textured chassis is actually just a hair thicker than the Z10.
