Google Pixel and Pixel XL is set compete head to head with the Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus. Each model has its advantages and disadvantages that can help win the hearts and wallets of the customers.

The two smartphones do share some similarity in their physical look. However the iPhone 7 model has an IP67 waterproof seal. Unfortunately, this feature is not available for the Google Pixel, according to the Inquisitr.

The Apple iPhone 7 has a standard 4.7 inch size display with a 1334 x750p resolution and its Retina display has been coated with oleophobic to discourage fingerprint marks. The latest iPhone also utilizes the In-plane switching (IPS) technology and also features a Taptic system.

The Google Pixel has a bigger 5 inch Full AMOLED HD display with a 1920 x 1080p resolution. It's protected by a Corning Gorilla Type 4 Glass. The AMOLED display however, is more power efficient compared to the iPhone 7.

The Google Pixel naturally uses Android 7 Nougat but it comes with an Artificial Intelligence that can help users in various tasks such as taking photos or buying tickets. Meanwhile, the iPhone 7 uses the latest iOS 10 and Siri. The OS and software would have been perfect if not for a few bugs.

The Google Pixel has a 12.3 MP rear and 8 MP front cameras. Critics rate it as the best mobile camera due to its ability to take high quality photos. The iPhone 7 has a 12MP rear and 7 MP front cameras. It is one of the most popular due to its low light photo capabilities.

Google Pixel Versus iPhone 7 on Price, Battery

Surprisingly, the Google Pixel and iPhone 7 32GB model costs $649 while the 128GB versions also cost $749. However, the Google Pixel has an advantage over the iPhone 7 with regards to battery, according to macworld. The Pixel has a powerful 2,770mAh battery that can last longer than the iPhone 7 which only has a 1960mAh.
