Angelina Jolie adopted her eldest son, Maddox, from Cambodia in 2003. It has been reported that Maddox was allegedly adopted with fake documents.

According to a report, an aid worker from Cambodia has come out claiming to be the father of Maddox who is now 15 years old. Mounh Sarath claimed that he is the father of Angelina's eldest son. Maddox was adopted by Angelina Jolie in 2003.

Sarath claimed that the documents show of him being the father of the child. He noted that he is still the father and Angelina Jolie has not cleared this news even before. It is indicated that when Angelina Jolie adopted Maddox she had to change her name. The only way for the actress to adopt Maddox then was to use Sarath as the father.

A report indicated that the adoption agent Lauryn Galindo has been sentenced to jail for falsifying documents then. Galindo helped falsify documents for Cambodian children to be adopted by American parents. She was imprisoned right after Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton took full custody of Maddox.

It can be recalled that when Angelina Jolie adopted Maddox in 2003, she claimed then that she went to great lengths of processes in order to adopt the child. It is also indicated that the actress made sure that the child did not have a live mother then. Angelina also shared that she would never rob a child from her real mother.

Angelina Jolie was given the Cambodian citizenship in 2005. She has six children including three adopted ones. The other three children are her kids from then-husband Brad Pitt. Aside from Maddox, Pax has been adopted from Vietnam while Zahara was also adopted from Ethiopia.

The other children are Shiloh who was born in Namibia and the couple's first biological daughter. Knox and Vivienne are twins who followed Shiloh.
