The latest reports confirm that the new console from Nintendo Switch is a huge success among fans. Nintendo is enjoying another success after the NES Classic edition. The reports suggest that it may have outperformed the sales of its previous console Wii. The firm is planning to ship as many as 2 million units by the end of March, and this gives a great start for the console.

The Switch outsells in all the major territories, and Nintendo ensured that the device is coming without a region-lock. This is quite unfamiliar practice for Nintendo, and it is highly useful for the gamers to play the games in any country and any region. There are reports that the launch of the game "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" along with Switch also added more sales to the console. The game is considered to be one of the best in the year, and it helped the console to outsell in numbers especially in the initial days.

The hybrid gaming system of the Switch is also considered to be playing for the console. It gives the experience of part handheld, part console, and part tablet. Interestingly, the local multiplayer options given with the Joy-Con controllers is another great option that attracts more gamers into it. This is a revolutionary movement by the developer as there are not many consoles with this option. When it docks to TV, a significant performance change noted and that is playing for the console.

It is expected that the coming days will see a steady growth of sales considering the release of more games into the console. So far, 55 games have been lined up for the release or already released. Many of the developers who did not consider Nintendo devices previously for their games, is now thinking about Switch. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, NBA 2K18, etc., are scheduled to release on the device.
