Niantic has confirmed that a "Pokemon Go" update is in development. The update is set to be released this year though there is no specific date yet.

According to a report, John Hanke, Niantic CEO has confirmed that the "Pokemon Go" update will be released this year. The Legendary Pokemon will then be added to the game. This will include Mewtwo, Mew, Zapdos, Articuno and Moltres.

There are no details yet on how these Legendary Pokemons will appear in Pokemon Go. It was previously believed that they may appear during special timed events for the game. It was also believed that these Pokemons may appear in famous locations or in hard to reach places.

A report indicated that there are still things that need development for the legendary Pokemon for "Pokemon Go." In fact, Hanke shared that the areas that need improvement are when players play together and the gym battles in the game.

The "Pokemon Go" update may include these improvements aside from the legendary Pokemon. Niantic's development for the game may start off with the Generation 1 Pokemon. The updates are still coming and announcements need to be made regarding the game's improvements.

Meanwhile, it is indicated that the problem recently with "Pokemon Go" is that players have a hard time catching certain monsters. This is because of the monsters living in specific continents only. This has been one of the reasons for the game's update that Niantic is working on.

A migration feature is also hinted to be added into "Pokemon Go." The game has also been designed for players to explore more of the places within the area where they are playing. There are still more expansions, to be expected for the game in the future.

The legendary Pokemon is the latest update for "Pokemon Go" and it will roll out soon. Players can then continue to enjoy the game with more Pokemon characters in it.
