The latest trailer for "Stranger Things" Season 2 aired during the Super Bowl 51 halftime. It teased fans of its air date and a glimpse into the life of the kids from upside down.

According to a report, the trailer that aired during the Super Bowl's halftime provided information of the air date for the show. It is hinted that "Stranger Things" Season 2 will air on Oct. 31. The trailer did not give away much information about the storyline. However, it gave a glimpse of the kids from the series.

The show's creators Matt and Ross Duffer already shared that "Stanger Things" Season 2 will be set in 1984. This is a year after the previous season concluded. Matt Duffer also stated that the second season is going to be darker than the first one.

A report indicates that the "Stranger Things" Season 2 trailer has bits of information for the series. The Eggo Commercial is part of the trailer and that it partnered with Netflix for the Super Bowl. An arcade is also teased in the second season's trailer. It seems that there are new sets to be expected in the upcoming season.

The trailer also features Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and she is definitely back for "Stranger Things" Season 2. The trailer also featured the kids in bicycles and in ghostbuster costumes. There are more to expect in the upcoming season for the series as it continues the story of the kids in their little town.

Meanwhile, there are also new characters to join in Stranger Things Season 2. The significant character that will be introduced in the second season is Max to be portrayed by Sadie Sink and she may already appear in the first episode titled 'Mad Max.' Dacre Montgomery will portray Max's brother in the upcoming season.

It is reported that "Stranger Things" Season 2 is a sequel from the previous season and not a new story. There are more events to happen in town with the kids and there will be answers about the events that happened previously.
