Fans of Samsung products are now ecstatic because the company will be releasing its latest flagship device, the Samsung S8 and S8 Edge. However, there is bad news. The Korean electronics company has announced that the release of the phones will be pushed a bit, delaying it even more.

However, along with such announcement of the delay Samsung Electronics Corporation Limited is promising a better, more efficient, and safer smartphones upon the release of the S8 units according to a Reuters report.

Reasons of the delay would be the recent news about the explosion of some Samsung Note 7 units due to its batteries' overheating. At a particular press briefing, Samsung's Chief Koh Dong-jin explained that the team decided to make delays for the S8 to ensure that when such time of release comes, the recent failures won't happen again. So, given this information, the question now will be: When will be the exact date of the S8's release?

By far, there are now rumors spreading that the Samsung will have a launching event for the S8 this March at New York and will finally be selling it the next month. However, there is still uncertainty as the company hasn't released information yet as Business Insider reports.

The chief of Samsung Electronics Corporation Limited had said that one of the goals of the company nowadays is gaining back consumer trust since the recent explosion problems of the Note 7 units gave them a hard time.  AsAnd now that the Mobile World Congress will happen this February 27,  there are talks that suggest that Samsung might use that time to finally formally introduce the S8 to the public.
