Harley Quinn is set to be seen in "Gotham" Season 3 finale episode. Her appearance is expected especially now that the Joker (Cameron Monaghan) is coming back to the series.

According to a report, Executive Producer John Stephens shares that Harley Quinn is set to appear in "Gotham" Season 3 Episode 22. This is the finale episode of the series and Quinn's appearance will set the stage in preparation for Season 4.

It is also indicated that Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn have a special relationship in the comics. Their story may be explored in another season of "Gotham." However, as of this time, there is no confirmation yet if their relationship will be part of the storyline as the series continues.

There is no actress being introduced yet on taking on Harley Quinn's character in "Gotham" Season 3. There are speculations that Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) may evolve to become the character. It can be recalled that Barbara is the ex-lover of James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) in the series.

The story for the season's finale episode is yet to be revealed especially on how Quinn will be introduced. It may not be so far that Harleen Frances Quinzel will again take the role. If the Joker will be taken to the Arkham Asylum in the end, then Quinn may be the nurse in the said Asylum.

Meanwhile, it is reported that this appearance of Quinn in "Gotham" Season 3 is an introduction towards the next season for the series. She is likely to appear in the show since this is a prequel to Batman. The series already introduced several villains that will make Batman busy fighting in the future.

Introducing Harley Quinn is also the perfect time for her to meet the Joker in "Gotham" Season 3. It is likely that Barbara is to be Harley Quinn in the future because of her becoming mad and ending up in the Arkham Asylum.

"Gotham" Season 3 airs Tuesday nights.
