'Casio'' WSD-F20 Release Date, News & Update: New Smart Outdoor Watch Runs On Android Wear 2.0; Features Include Map, GPS & More

"Casio" is set to release the second product for its Smart Outdoor Watch category. These devices come with a water resist feature and durable for outdoor activities.

This new wrist device from "Casio" is the WSD-F20 which runs the Android wear 2.0. This smart watch also has the low-power GPS and has the new color map functionality. This functionality can be used offline which can expand the user's outdoor activities.

"Casio's" WSD-F20 also supports a wide coverage of outdoor activities and it can be used even when in an area without cellular coverage. It also has incorporated rich designs and an easy-to-read map for the user's advantage.

Additionally the WSD-F20 has the ability to download maps from Mapbox. This can be incorporated to the device's GPS. The watch's design is more rugged as compared to the previous one that has been released a year ago.

The WSD-F10 has been the first product for Casio's Smart Outdoor Watch category and it had an impressive debut. This is even more enhanced with the latest wrist device by Casio for the same category.

Meanwhile, it is indicated in a report that the physical appearance of the WSD-F20 has been enhanced. It has a larger side buttons and has a protective bezel added to it. The larger side buttons can give the user easy access to apps and tools.

The WSD-F20 has the same 1.3 inch dual-layer LCD with the WSD-F10. The LCD can shift from all monochrome to all color that can actually save battery life. This wrist device is also water resistant and can last even underwater of up to 50-meters deep.

A new feature of "Casio's" WSD-F20 comes in an app which is called the Moment Setter. This feature makes monitoring of activities more efficient. It sends alerts to the user about important activities once it is personalized.

"Casio's" WSD-F20 will already be available on April 21, 2017.
