iPhone users have been cramming on getting a pair of the Apple AirPods and not all are lucky enough. Supplies were very limited but there are some that are for sale on e-Bay for people who are ready to spend a fortune for the wireless earbuds.

The AirPods went on sale on selected stores but as expected, it only took minutes to be sold out with customers going crazy to get their hands on a pair. Pre-orders are still possible through Apple's website but as reported by The Sun, expected shipping date is still in 2017. There were the lucky ones who managed to place their orders while the wireless earbuds were still in stock and decided to take the opportunity by selling them for a fortune.

There are some AirPods being sold on e-Bay and prices starts at $300 or more, with some even priced at $620. The price is twice as high as the original price, which is $159, but those who will purchase would not have to wait longer until Apple ships by next year.

According to Daily Mail, since the AirPods were just launched last week, they will be shipped only in limited quantities. Apple encourages customers to keep on checking for updates online for the product's availability and estimated delivery date.

Recent reports revealed that repairing or replacing an AirPod costs $69 and since then, customers have been concerned about losing them. In line with this, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that he has already tried the wireless earbuds while doing physical activities such as treadmills and did not fall out.

The wireless AirPods were introduced along with iPhone 7 which does not have a headphone jack. The wireless earbuds are proven by Business Insider to last up to 5 hours, and comes with a case that acts as a wireless charger as well that can charge the AirPods up to five times.
