'Stardew Valley': The Crop Harvesting Game Now Available On PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

On December 14, a new game was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This role-playing game is heavily inspired by the previous 'Harvest Moon' video game series. The game is called Stardew Valley.

The Stardew Valley is an indie farming simulation role-playing video game published by Chucklefish Games and developed by ConcernedApe. It was released for Microsoft Windows in February 2016. The game's platforms ports are for OS X, Linux, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows. The sole creator Eric Barone developed it for over four years of trial-and-error phase. Stardew Valley is one of the highest-selling titles on Steam and eventually selling over one million copies.

In this role-playing video game, the player escapes from the hustle of a corporate job and takes over their grandfather's dilapidated farm in the small town called Stardew Valley. The player balances the character's energy and time to clear land, tends crops and plant, manages crop goods, raise livestock, mine for ores and participate in social activities. The player may select one of the five farm maps to their preference in play style. Players have the option to choose mining resources, fishing in the river, and even further expanding the farm's building and facilities.

Players may correspondingly intermingle with non-player characters (NPC) which let them engaging in relationships with these NPCs to tend the farm. The player has various quests to take to earn additional money. There is several works for completing a specific collection of materials which the player may gain additional rewards. All these activities must be equaled to the characters'' health and level of energy.

The role-playing video game uses a streamlined calendar which has only 28-day months that represents each season. These seasons determine which type of crops can be grown and what kind of activities can be constructive. To simply make it short, there is no deadline for completing the game.
