Out of the 7.4 Billion people around the world, Russian President Vladimir Putin is declared as the most powerful man in the world. For the fourth time in a row, Forbes sees this man perpetually in this decade.

Out of every 100 million people worldwide doing remarkable things beyond the ordinary, Forbes chooses their candidate trimming down to 74 people that they will rank according to their dimensions considering the most powerful man in the world putting Vladimir Putin on top.

The first consideration for the most powerful man in the world is the influence of a number of people. Included in the list that ranks top in Religion is Pope Francis with 1.2 Billion followers with the Roman Catholic Church. He is also Number 5 in rank. The world's largest employer with 2.3 Million workers and CEO of Walmart Doug McMillon is also a topnotch in this category and ranks number 27 among the 74 candidates.

Financial capacity and resources is another factor that Forbes look for the most powerful man in the world. Bill Gates who ranks number 7 is top of an individual with revenues making him the richest man in the world. On number 16 who got a GDP of 20% oil reserves in the world is the King of Saudi Arabia  Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The most powerful man in the world in terms of multiple spheres is Elon Musk who also is number 21. He owns different companies from auto business and aerospace industry. Musk is also a respected technology visionary in the entire world.

The last category for the man who uses his power is Kim Jong-un of North Korea that has the capacity to punish his citizen in a dictatorship government counting to 25 Million people. Just enough to put him on top in this category and number 43 all over the world.

In total forging four categories, Vladimir Putin ranks as the most powerful man in the world. Followed by President-elect Donald Trump who always escapes several controversies with the US Congress supporting him. The third rank is also the most powerful woman in the world is the European power and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
