The latest episode of "Lucifer" Season 2 revealed a shocking truth about Chloe's (Lauren German) identity. The fall finale of the Fox series finally answered why Chloe is immune to Lucifer's (Tom Ellis) powers and charms -- she is a miracle baby.

Many years ago on "Lucifer," Chloe's parents prayed to God and asked Him to give them a baby because they couldn't get pregnant. God heeded their prayers and He sent one of his sons, Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside), to go down to Earth and bless a woman's womb for the first and last time.

Chloe's mother, Penelope (Rebecca de Mornay), discovered that she's with child after several weeks. This means that Chloe crossing paths with God's former favorite son isn't a coincidence and it is one of the Creator's plans.

"Lucifer" showrunner Ildy Modrovich recently told TVLine that Chloe is indeed a miracle baby because "she wasn't supposed to be born." Modrovich added that God is "the one that basically put her in Lucifer's path, and made her the only human immune to his charms."

In the second half of "Lucifer" Season 2, Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) will spill the truth about Chloe's real identity to Lucifer. This huge twist will shock Lucifer and he could wish for space between him and his partner.

Episode 11 titled "Stewardess Interrupts" will feature Chloe in a bad place, according to Spoilers Guide. The promo for the upcoming "Lucifer" episode shows Chloe with a bleeding nose and on the verge of fainting.

Lucifer is concerned and Chloe's predicament could push the fallen angel to return to Hell so she can be safe. Of course, Lucifer returning to Hell will make Charlotte happy because that's what she wants her sons to do in the first place.

A romance is also brewing between Lucifer and Chloe. Episode 10 ended with the two leaning in for a kiss. Would the duo's romance end before it really begins?

"Lucifer" Season 2 will finally introduce God and producers are currently casting a male actor to play the role. The character will be a psychiatric patient who believes that he is God. Lucifer is skeptical at first but he finds himself believing the man's ramblings when he spews out facts that only God knows, TVLine reported.

Episode 11 of "Lucifer" Season 2 will air on Monday, Jan. 16 at 9 PM EST on Fox. What do you think of Chloe's true identity? How can this affect her relationship with Lucifer? Sound off in the comments section below!
