'Tokyo Ghoul' News & Updates: Season 3 Release Date, Tokyo Ghoul Live Action Movie ; Ken Kaneki In His One-Eyed Mask

"Tokyo Ghoul" originated from the manga and the release of the anime was the result of its popularity. Now the anime had successfully run for two seasons and everyone is waiting for Season 3. Reports about its delay and cancellation have already started to go rampant.

Before anything else, "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 has said to be having a darker plot. More intense and psychological wrecking scenes and twists might happen and might turn out to be not appropriate for the younger audience. Ken Kaneki will continue to face the challenges for his goal of equalizing the world for humans but he might turn into a complete Kakuja in the next season and the protagonist will face a new villain.

Sui Ishida, the Japanese manga artist of "Tokyo Ghoul" has also been reported to have been working on the "Hunter X Hunter" which could delay the release of "Tokyo Ghoul". Also, the anime might be also be affected now that rumors have risen that Studio Pierrot who handles the anime have its rights sold to Madhouse, Inc.

The success of the two seasons of "Tokyo Ghoul" led to the presumption that a third season will happen. Rumors that it will premiere later this year was clearly not going to happen and now new reports that it will be released this winter of 2016 have risen and the postponement of the said release date came out. The latest news though stated that as early as March 2017, the "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 will be released.

Despite the long wait for the "Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3, a new image visual appeared for the live-action film of the anime. It showed the protagonist Ken Kaneki with his one-eyed mask. The mask is worn by Ken Kaneki (Masataka Kubota), designed by Masanori Morikawa, will be put on display during the Jump Festa event. Aside from Kubota, Fumika Shimizu will be part of the live-action movie as the heroine Toka Kirishima.

"Tokyo Ghoul" Season 3 is not yet clear with its release date but the image released for the live-action of the anime have written under '2017 summer'. Fans can expect to see  a new "Tokyo Ghoul" entertainment piece.
