Looks like wrestler’s bravery and strength are not reserved just for the ring. The news is that Shad Gaspard showed his courage when handling a real life robber in Florida while returning home from a wrestling show. Being thanked by the cashiers and some of his friends who were near the happening Gaspard said that he thought the guy had a real gun, which even increases his courage, being prepared to confront a real weapon like that.

TMZ Sport says that Coral Spring PD in Florida received a phone call about a possible robbery of the gas station. A drunken suspect approached Shad and asked him to buy him a beer, to what the wrestler responded that there are much better ways to ask that he did. The guy pulled out a gun and pointed it to Gaspard who immediately responded by shoving him to the door and throwing his gun away.

According to 411 mania, the heroic act by Gaspard was done inside the station while his friends were waiting for him in the car. They were returning from a wrestling show and just stopped to get a drink at the gas station. Gaspard was the only one entering the station. After handling the robber and throwing his gun away, Gaspard realized that the weapon was not even real. It is said that at one point the robber tried to warn Gaspard and ask him to leave, so he can finish what he started in the first place – rob the station. But, the wrestler just put him down to the ground and his friends called the police.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that the wrestler later told his friends that during the whole time he believed that the gun was genuine. Just when everything ended he realized that the guy had a fake gun, when he saw that it is an airsoft gun. Pro Wrestling Sheet says that the suspect was taken into custody and no further information is available.
