"Grey's Anatomy" has some heart-wrenching events in its Midseason Finale. Aside from the challenges they are currently facing, the characters of the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital will be facing even more challenges that may seem to be the end of their future.

"Grey's Anatomy", as usual, has to deal with a calamity that will hit them. A major disaster, an apartment building that collapsed in Seattle, caused the hospital to be flooded and affected a lot of patients in critical condition. With all the medical crisis they have to face, each of the characters have their own problems they have to face as well.

Richard Webber of "Grey's Anatomy" played by James Pickens Jr. is having a problem with the new doctor, Dr Eliza Minnick (played by Marika Dominczyk) who is not keen on working with him. The problem even escalates as Webber and Bailey will be fighting over how Webber will handle this.

Richard Webber is not the only one in "Grey's Anatomy" that has a problem to face. Owen will be reading the most painful note he will ever read in his life. The note left by Amelia might mark the end of their relationship. The space given by Owen for Amelia to make up her mind might have triggered her desire to take the space much farther. The child that Owen wants might not become a reality with Amelia's indecisiveness about the whole thing.

For the return of "Grey's Anatomy", Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) might exit the show as he might go to jail. During the midseason finale, Alex is on the verge of taking the plea bargain to prevent Jo from testifying that might cause the topic about her abusive husband to come up. This news is nothing but bad for Meredith as she insists that Alex must not do it. The scenes between the two spark the speculation of a possible romance between them.

Add to the problems "Grey's Anatomy" is facing, is that Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), might be suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Meredith was tested and was found to be genetically positive with Alzheimer's gene.

The continuous success of "Grey's Anatomy" is the result of the hard work of the people in the set. Two of the people, one might want to be thankful for, is Channing Dungey and Shonda Rhimes. The two of them helped in the casting of the character Alex Karev. "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 is set to return on January 29, 2017, and will air on ABC.
