The hot-streaking Utah Jazz (14-9), which notched their third straight win and seven of their last 10 games, will have their hands full as the top-seed Golden State Warriors (19-3) pay Salt Lake City a visit. And compounding their woes, Quin Snyder's squad will have to make do with a depleted lineup, playing without their superstar and main gunner Gordon Hayward.

A Clash Between The League's Two of The Hottest Teams

The Golden State Warriors and Utah Jazz matchup tips off Thursday evening at 6 PM inside the Vivant Smart Home Arena. The Warriors led by the superstar duo of Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant is also coming in with their own version of a three-game win streak en-route to an impressive 15 victories in their last 16 games, wrote The Mercury News.

Utah Jazz Adds Another Casualty to a Growing List of Injured Players

Gordon Hayward will be forced to man the sidelines for tonight's game against the Golden State Warriors after suffering an injury with his finger yet again. He will be joining the already star-studded cast of Utah Jazz injured list, which includes Derrick Favors (knee), George Hill (toe), Rodney Hood (hamstring), and Alec Burks (ankle).

Even with a complete roster, the Utah Jazz is bound to have matchup nightmares against the talented and volume-scoring Golden State Warriors. The active players would have to step up and bring their A-game tonight if they hope of ever getting a chance against their mighty foe.

Rudy Gobert, together with Dante Exum, Joe Johnson, Shelvin Mack, and Boris Diaw, would have to work double-time versus the Golden State Warriors to cover up for the lack of depth from the bench. The Utah Jazz center from France is fresh off a career-best 22 points in 6 for 8 shooting against the Phoenix Suns last Tuesday.

In his young NBA career, Gobert is earning his keep and surpassing his previous numbers across the stat sheet, according to NBA.com.
