Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell scored their own reality series "Happily Ever After" following their engagement on the ABC dating show "The Bachelor." While the Freeform reality series is supposed to follow the couple's wedding preparation, the couple still has not made any plans about their marriage. Have they called their engagement off?

Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins are rumored to have split, as the couple remains uncertain about their relationship together. Their Freeform drama, "Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After" documents their journey to the altar after getting engaged on "The Bachelor."

However, it has been months since the couple got engaged and yet there has been no news about their wedding. According to Hollywood Life, the reason behind the delay in Bushnell and Higgins' wedding may be JoJo Fletcher.

An insider told Life & Style that Fletcher and Higgins are having secret phone calls with each other. At first, their phone calls happened every couple of days or so; however, their calls became more frequent as days passed by.

"Lauren is insanely jealous," said the source. "She won't take this lightly at all."

As Entertainment Tonight reports, it seemed like Higgins and Bushnell are growing apart because of their reality show on Freeform. "The Bachelor" 2016 told the publication that spending a lot of time together does not seem to do their relationship any good.

"I don't think it's healthy for any relationship," he told the publication.

Higgins, however, explained that starring in the same series can have its advantages as well. According to "The Bachelor" 2016, they discovered a lot of things about each other and their relationship.

Higgins also clarified that he and Bushnell are still together and still engaged. He explained that they are taking their wedding plans slowly because it is not something they are supposed to rush.
