The separation seems to be reaching into a horrible series of events. Mr. and Mrs. Smith are having a bitter brutal divorce and custody battle.

On Saturday, Brad Pitt was dismayed after Angelina Jolie called off the post-Thanksgiving celebration visit of the actor. It was reported that she agreed to let him have the kids on that day. He returned to Los Angeles earlier after his luxurious Amanyara vacation  in Turks and Caicos, but the actress changed her mind and canceled their visit at the very last minute.

It was reported that Pitt spent $34,000 per night on the private posh Villa with his male buddies. He came back late afternoon on Saturday and called his former wife to arrange the drop-off. Pitt was planning to give gifts and warm hugs to his kids, 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and Maddox, 15. He imagined to give his kids a simple and quiet dinner, but the plan turned black.

Entertainment Online  shared that actress never requested Pitt to spend Thanksgiving Day at their home in Los Angeles. Reports revealed that Pitt and Jolie called for a two-day ceasefire for the sake of the holidays. It was reported that one of their kids, Shiloh sent an email to Pitt asking him to spend the holiday with them. However, there is no real evidence regarding this.

The People reported that it was the first time that Pitt celebrated alone on the said special day.  Away from the family on Thanksgiving is a pretty gloomy experience. It was a tradition both for Mr. and Mrs. Smith to spend it with the entire family.

"Brad was very angry and disappointed.  He wanted to have a belated gathering at his house on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. Angie is still fighting Brad for sole custody, and it's going to get even more brutal," the InTouch Weekly published
