During the promotion of the new movie this 2016 Patriots day, the American actor, producer, businessman and former model Mark Wahlberg talked about how he felt while filming the movie in his hometown Boston, Massachusetts.

Wahlberg's latest film which is set to take the big screen in January is based on the book by Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge, Boston Strong. It is about the bombing that occurred three years ago during a marathon in Boston.

The actor revealed that it was hard for him to make the memorable thriller which was a real life catastrophe. Even though it happened years back now, it is still affecting the lives of the people who lose their loved ones in the tragic event.

"It is such a small community, so everyone knew someone who was affected," the actor said after a screening in New York. "I also felt a sense of pride. It was extremely difficult to make the film. It is becoming more and more difficult to talk about it." He added.

As we can recall it, the Boston bombing happened last April 15, 2013, resulted in injuries and most of all, deaths. It was during the 117th annual Boston Marathon which is one of the world's best-known road racing events.

It was a great day whereas families, friends, relatives and people around the world gathered for the event as their tradition, passion and their way of showing their support towards the community. From the start of the event, it didn't show any signs of the said attack.

The bombers were brothers who were encourage executing the deed due to their extremist Islamic beliefs but claimed that they were not attached or linked to any terrorist group. Later on, they were found guilty of 30 federal offenses in regards to the attack and then sentenced to death.
