Love Live! Sunshine!! Hosts a World Image Poll

Fans of the popular Idol franchise, Love Live rejoice! The official anime website of the series will be hosting a world image girl poll.

According to Anime News Network, the "World Image Girl Election" is a voting period hosted by the Love Live! Sunshine!! Anime franchise. The voting period will run from November 18 to December 18. The voting poll will determine the poster girl from the group Aqours for nine locations around the world. The location is as follows:

  • Australia

  • China

  • Germany

  • Korea

  • Singapore

  • Taiwan

  • Thailand

  • United Kingdom

  • United States

Fans of the group can get to vote for their favorite member to represent their respective locations. People can only vote once for their chosen member, and the highest voted for each region will determine which member will become the ambassador to the locations.

Anyone from around the world can participate in the poll. The anime website already posted information about it both in Japanese and English. The website for which the fans can cast their vote is yet to launch.

The Love Live franchise is popular for its fan-polls. These "image polls" are usually those who will represent establishments like 7-Eleven in Japan. Sakurauchi Riko, Watanabe You, and Tsushima Yoshiko are some of the members of Aqours who have won these polls.There are also polls which fans can get to pick the names of the idol groups, its respective leaders and the center of the unit singles. Back in 2015, fans get to pick out the names of Aqours' sub-units along with the members of each team.


Love Live! Sunshine!! revolves around a group of nine school girls who became idols to save their school from shutting down. They formed the idol group Aqours that consists of Takami Chika, Sakurauchi Riko, Matsuura Kanan, Kurosawa Ruby, Watanabe, You, Tsushima Yoshiko, Kunikida Hanamaru, Kurosawa Dia and Ohara Mari. The anime aired on July 2, 2016.
