First adapted by the network A&E it ran for three strong seasons, becoming the network’s most viewed production. After the third season, they planned on stopping the series, since even though successful, they believed its viewer group did not respond well to advertisers.

Afterwards, angry fans started a "save the show" campaign, which after a few struggles had been successful. Netflix adopted the series and started producing further episodes. What can viewers expect from “Longmire” Season 6?

News Every Day reported earlier that one of the most expected storylines may come to a close in the final sixth season. This is the romantic relationship between Walt (Taylor) and Vic (Katee Sackhoff). The basis of fans expectation for the two characters comes from the fact that in the books, they eventually end-up together. In the series, it could be a little trickier than what fans expected.

In the end of “Longmire” Season 5 it was revealed that Vic is pregnant, which could obstruct the development of the two characters’ romantic involvement.
