Emma Watson Surprises Everybody By Hiding Books Copies On Tube Line In London

Harry Potter actress Emma Watson has been known to hide her favorite books on different stations in London. One of the books that she has been known to leave behind are copies of "The late Maya Angelou's Mom & Me & Mom". She recently started her own feminist book club.

The fans expressed their joy in social media  when they saw their favorite actress running around St John's Wood station. She was also spotted in Oxford Circus.

The actress even shared her adventure afterwards on facebook, writing; 'I've been hiding copies of Mom & Me & Mom for Books on the Underground on the tube today! See if you can find one tomorrow! #OurSharedShelf.'

Emma as a book fairy

Not only the actress could share this moment but fans during the event posted their happiness to watch her favorite actress as a "book fairy".

For the ones who didn't know, Emma Watson is the U.N. Women Global Goodwill Ambassador. She has been a staunch defender of women rights and now she is part of the HeForShe initiative which she represents and that fight for global gender equality. This campaign promotes Emma's feminist book club "Our Shared Shelf" by giving the people one of her shelf option, like a must to read.

At this campaign Watson left about 100 books with a hand written note included, and one of the fans published it as it was found.

Even the idea of leaving the books was to promote the title and let it for others to see it as well. The added note message that she "hoped the reader enjoy the book, and urged to leave it on the Tube afterward for others to find"

The "Books on the Underground" campaign, has been in existence for four years already and they leave about 150 books every week in stations across London. The director consider that this would help their initiative to remind people to look up for more hiding books in the tube line so Emma's new book club.
