"Death Note" Light Up The NEW World fans are excited to see some super smart lead characters again. "Death Note" is back again as it conquers the first place in the box office.

Fans of "Death Note 2: The Last Name" must have felt the thrill and excitement as L and Kira (Light) have their battle of their minds. Now that Light is no longer on the picture, viewers were left wondering what would the next film show when L's equal was now gone? No one expected that Death Note would bring a movie out that is as interesting as the last one.

"Death Note: Light Up The New World" was set ten years after the event of the last "Death Note" film. From a short plot in an article, the supernatural notebook which is "Death Note", that started the whole problem with its ability to kill anyone as long as you write the name of the person you want to kill on it. Six Death Notes fell to the human world that will haunt the new world filled with cyber-terrorism.

Imagine the past "Death Note" film who only have two or three Death Notes at that time and it caused a lot of problems. What more if it is six Death Notes? In the new "Death Note" movie two individuals who inherited Light Yagami's and L's DNA will play the deadly brain game again.

So far reviews say that this is indeed a good film when it beat out "Your Name" or "Kimi no Na aa" by Makoto Shinkai who stayed at the box office first place spot for nine consecutive weekends. A very good film about soul-swapping, romance and time.

"Death Note: Light Up The New World" was able to sell 342,309 tickets when the film opened on 342 screens according to reports. In total, it earned 458,645,800 Yen or about 4.37$ Million on its opening weekend.

"Death Note: Light Up The New World" was anticipated to be viewed by the whole world in relation to its 2006 film "Death Note 2:The Last Name" which was accepted by lots of people from different country. The English subtitle of the film was already posted to prepare everyone with the "Death Note" fever.
