The game is about the cat named Momo scaring away ghost creeping towards her. The Magic Cat Academy set in a school environment and players need to draw the shapes appearing on top of the ghost.

According to Google Doodle Blog, the game was development by four different teams - art, engineering, production, and extra help from the music department. Google stated that they have come up with many ideas for this year's Halloween theme. They arrive with a decision to release a "short game against the clock" together with the Halloween Doodle. "Regardless, we love the process of dreaming up the possibilities," stated by Google in coming up with this concepts. Ideas like 'Eiffel Tower Spell and gag spells didn't make the cut.

Players are given five different levels of Magic Cat Academy if you're a gamer you can ace the game. Each player who played the game gives the option to share their result to any media platform such as Facebook, Twitter, etc., together with a Halloween query.

How to play the game? It's easy. Just click on the play icon on the Halloween Doodle on Google Search Page. It will then lead you to a story of Momo in the Magic Cat Academy. All you need to do is draw the symbols appearing on the ghost head. It gets tougher as you progress through all five levels. You have to draw more symbols, but don't worry there are special symbols that are more of like a particular spell you can use.

Google stated that the inspiration behind Momo is Doodler Juliana Chen's cat named "Momo." You can check more of Momo and the early versions of the game at Google's Halloween 2016 Doodle.
