It has been 10 years since Taylor Swift released her first album titled "Taylor Swift." Ever since that time, Swift has managed to mesmerized fans with her music and dedication to her craft.

Her first single "Tim McGraw" made it to Top Ten Country Hits at that time. Fans related well to the song which was written back when Swift was still in high school. She wrote the song with Liz Rose and was dedicated to a boyfriend who's going away to college, RollingStone reports.

And the rest is history. Hit after hit, Swift created a cult following. Her wholesome, country image was perfect in an industry that was highly sexualized at the time. She was a refreshing sight to see.

All of her songs smoothly navigated the emotions of young love - pain, happiness and disappointments. Her songs - "Teardrops on My Guitar," "Our Song," and "Picture to Burn" all proved that she's a great storyteller. Her song "Should've Said No" was written by her and was dedicated allegedly to a boyfriend who was caught cheating.

Perhaps that's part of the charm and mystery of Taylor Swift. Fans and the media are busy figuring out who did what to Swift in her songs. The singer commemorated the event by posting a throwback picture in Twitter.
