"Death Note: Light Up The New World" Trailer Preview

Trailer for "Death Note: Light Up The New World could be seen here. The English sub-titled trailer was able to give a preview on what to expect from the upcoming film. The story line takes pale a decade after Light and L were thought to be dead. However, the preview showed Light (played by Kenichi Matsuyama) and L (played by Tatsuya Fujiwara). It is believed that the two will only appear as cameos in the film. However, there seems to be some hint that Light is still alive, according to Nerdist.

"Light Up The World" starts the race for the Death Notes once again as six of them made its way to the Human world. The three characters hoping to get all of them are Death Note Retrieval Team Leader Tsukuru Mishima (played by Masahiro Higashide), cyber terrorist Yuki Shien (played by Masaki Suda) and private eye Ryuzaki (played by Sosuke Ikematsu).

Other characters in the film is Misa Amane (played by Erika Toda), a human female who willingly assisted Light. However, the greatest threat is Sakura Aoi (played by Rina Kawaei). Her mastery of the Death Notes seemed to surpass even that of Light's.

"Death Note: Light Up The New World" Release Date

"Death Note: Light Up The New World" is scheduled for its Japanese theatrical release on October 29. Australian and New Zealander movie goers will get to see the film on November 10. It's quite possible that this movie will make it in the US since its distributor is Warner Brothers.
