After another rough season playing with the Houston Rockets, Josh Smith now has found himself unsigned with just days to go before the NBA season starts. Smith lost his opportunity to play in the NBA finals last season for the Cavaliers and the Warriors got an interest last season.

According to the Real GM, last 2015 NBA off-season, Josh Smith received a big time interest from two great teams, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors. Instead, Josh Smith signed with the Los Angeles Clippers and eventually traded back to his previous team, the Rockets.

That is a one tough decision or maybe a wrong decision for Josh Smith, that he refused to sign for any of the two teams who played against each in the NBA Finals. Smith might now be a member of the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers nor a member of the powerhouse team Golden State Warriors.

A report made by the Sports Inquirer, Smith said in an interview that he is still in search of a team in the NBA. Josh Smith state that his first priority at this moment if to return to the NBA.

Smith also mentioned that he did a major workout this off-season to stay in shape that made him prepared and ready to play in the NBA. Josh Smith admitted there is a lot of changes in the league and it is the problem that he went through. Smith accepted the fact that he needs to improve something on his playing style.

Josh Smith confirmed that he already received some offers from China. He still refused to go overseas as he still hoping to get another shot in the NBA.

Playing with Al Horford during his years with the Atlanta Hawks, Smith led the team to a multiple NBA Playoffs appearance. The Houston Rockets reached the NBA Conference Finals 2 years ago, and Smith is a key player during that campaign. Let's hope that the NBA would not forget how Josh Smith contribute to every team he played with and wish that a team would give him a guaranteed contract this coming NBA season.
