'Playstation VR' Review Before It Hits The Market; Is Sony PSVR Worth Your Money?

With just a week to go, the Sony "Playstation VR" is about to hit the market after the long wait. As soon as it is released, everyone is asking if the "Playstation VR" can compete against the amazing yet expensive Oculus Rift. The big question is, does taking the "Playstation VR" worth your dollars?

Sony is really serious to take the gaming world into the next level. The "Playstation VR" is about to launch next week and we are here to help you decide whether to buy it or not.

Gathering information around, the Pocket-lint were able to get the "Playstation VR" ahead of the release date. The "Playstation VR" or the PSVR, with its project name called Project Morpheus is a Virtual Reality Headset that features 1080 OLED display that is capable to handle 1920 x 1080 resolution in pixel.

The "Playstation VR" has less resolution compared to the Oculust Rift and HTC Vibe, which both are known to be more expensive. Though the "Playstation VR" is much cheaper than its competitor, the "Playstation VR" Headset basic package can be bought for $399, a Playstation Camera and Playstation Move are required as well, which is sold separately.

As for the "Playstation VR" games, according to the Game Radar, PSVR game's price starts at $5. Highly noted games include, the Batman Arkham, Battlezone, RIGS, EVE and the much awaited Resident Evil 7, which was first introduced during the E3 conference last June.

In addition, the latest Playstation 4 Pro is not necessary to play with the PSVR. The basic "Playstation VR" unit will be the minimum hardware required as long as players have the Playstation Camera and Playstation Move.

Sony has been in the gaming industry for almost more than 2 decades as on now and they were able to compete with huge companies like Microsoft and Nintendo. As the PSVR is about to release this October 13th, this could be another game changer in the world of gamers.
