Xbox One and PC players will soon be able to get the last installment of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. The final DLC, Salvation, is set to be released on October 6, according to Gamespot. Salvation was released earlier last month for the PS4 as part of a timed-exclusivity deal between Activision and Sony.

Players have a lot to look forward to as the DLC comes with 4 new multiplayer maps. The first map is Citadel, an ancient castle which forces players into close quarter engagements. The second map is Micro, where players fight against a backdrop of a giant family picnic table.

The third map is Outlaw, which is a western reimagination of the map Standoff from Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Finally, the fourth map is Rupture, a reimagination of the Call of Duty: World at War Outskirts as a high tech facility designed by a futuristic society.

Attack of the Fanboy also reports that the Salvation DLC will also add another chapter to Zombies, called Revelations. In it, the Origins characters, Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai finally meet Doctor Monty in The House. They must once again fight the zombie horde in order to save their immortal souls.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 also recently released an update for Xbox One and PS4, according to Express. Update patch 1.17 comes with many improvements and tweaks. For the Xbox One, improvements were made to Multiplayer General, Gunsmith, Zombie Mode, and Gorod Krovi.

A similar update was rolled out for the PS4 version, with fixes added to the Rupture, Citadel, Micro, and Outlaw maps, as well as various fixes to the Zombies Revelations chapter.

Salvation is part of the $50 DLC pass for Black Ops 3. The DLC pass also includes the pervious expansion packs, Awakening, Eclipse, and Descent. It can also be purchased by itself for $15.
