'Madam Secretary' Season 2 News Update and Spoilers: Bess has Solid Plans to Beat Boko Haram
The spunky and suave Elizabeth Bess has found out some significant details about Boko Haram and plans to deal with the terrorists in her iron hand manner; this time using her smarts instead of weapons.
In the upcoming nineteenth episode titled "Desperate Remedies", the audience will get a good glimpse of brain vs. brawn, as Madam Secretary hatches a plan to free the hostage schoolgirls kidnapped by the notorious terrorist organization.
Bess plans to overthrow Boko Haram as she has got wind of an important secret about one of the terrorists. The said member has contacted a deadly virus and can die anytime. So, Madam plans to use his deadly disease as an exchange deal. He might be offered the remedy to kill the virus and in return will have to hand over the schoolgirls.
Well, this development bears close resemblance to the kidnapping incident of April 2014. Boko Haram abducted 276 schoolgirls in Chibok and has been holding them captive for two years. Only a few could set themselves free by escaping the clutches of the terrorists.
The forces have made several attempts to free the hostages from the kidnappers but could not succeed. This was because of the highly guarded security the kidnappers had deployed on their territory. The heavy guard made it difficult for the rescuers to locate the girls, leave alone liberating them.
Another positive development on the show will come in the form of Henry McCord and NSA getting closer to terrorist Jibral Disah. Earlier, it had been revealed that Henry has found out that one of Jibral's wives was a student of one of his colleagues. He passed on the information to the NSA and now some good headway can be made regarding his hideout.
"Desperate Remedies" will air on Sunday, 10 April, at 8 p.m.
