Ex-Baywatch Star, Jeremy Jackson, Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Man, Claims Self-Defense
Jeremy Jackson, who is best known for his role as Hobie Buchannon in "Baywatch," allegedly stabbed a man in the torso and fled from the scene. The incident occurred on Friday in Westlake, CA, and Jackson was arrested on Saturday.
The police reported that officers got a call that a man was stabbed in the 1600 block of 7th street. The unidentified victim had a stab wound in his upper left torso and was transported to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center for treatment. The man was able to identify his attacker as "Hobie."
On the following day, the police received a tip regarding a possible prowler, who was wandering the 700 block of South Union Avenue. Once the police arrived, they realized that it was Jackson and arrested him immediately.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department revealed that Jackson, 34, was released on the same day on bail. Jackson told TMZ that he stabbed the man in self-defense after the man pulled out a gun.
Jackson has had run-ins with the law. In 2005, he was arrested for attempting to set up a home meth lab. Jackson previously told E! News that he suffered from an addiction to methamphetamine and alcohol, which ultimately led to his decision to leave "Baywatch."
Jackson later appeared on "Celebrity Rehab" in 2011. At that time, he suffered from an addiction to human growth hormones. Jackson most recently appeared on "Celebrity Big Brother UK." He was kicked off of the show for exposing Chloe Goodman's breast on live TV while under the influence of alcohol.
