Five Nights at Freddy's 3 Release Date and Updates: Rumors Suggest This Might Be The End of Series

Five Nights at Freddy's 3 is yet to be released on mobile devices and rumors have started suggesting that this will be the final game in the Five Nights at Freddy's series.

Gamers who have dived into the Five Nights at Freddy's 3 on PC noted that there's sure a feeling of closure at the end of this game that wasn't there in its predecessors.

"Without spoiling too much, the endings for Five Nights at Freddy's 3 (yes, there's more than one) likewise carry an air of finality. At the same time, there are other hints and indications that the door is far from locked," wrote Nadia Oxford at Gamezebo.

In addition, the latest image posted on the ScottGames.com - the maker of the Five Nights at Freddy series - shows the Freddy Fazbear's hat which is a way of hinting that the show is over.

"I'm personally glad the series has ended. Everybody agrees that Scott has outdone himself with the third game a deserves a long break. I'd rather there not to be a fourth instalment in the series, it'd be overworking the idea," said a Reddit user.

"I guess the series might be... over? It's been a great ride! but hey, there may be a five nights at Bonnie's!" another Five Nights at Freddy's fan tweeted.
